Be Still
Covid–19 came on suddenly and caused lives throughout the world to change dramatically. It was not a pandemic that robbed me of the beloved husband of my youth, the father of my children. It was a tragic plane crash. Along with him on that fateful June day in 1982 were our two youngest children. As impossible as it is to imagine, it happened yet again thirty–four years later. This time it was my adult son and my teenage grandson, along with a teenage friend. When I wondered, so many years ago, if I could ever again be truly happy, my elder brother, Jesus Christ, guided my way to true joy. This is my story."Be Still weaves a woman's journey through unthinkable tragedy, at once both heartbreaking and hopeful. Fate and faith play hand in hand in this gripping story of love, loss, and family."-Greg Boeck, former USA Today sports writer, currently teaches journalism at Arizona State University"Admire life while it lasts."-Maxel Jed Belnap
