The Adventures of Jimmy and Fresco

This short story is about a little boy named Jimmy, who's an only child. One day while shopping with his mother downtown, he sees a little dog in a pet shop and falls in love at first sight. He's told by his mother that he can't get a dog at this time. Jimmy becomes very sad and doesn't realize that his parents have something very special planned for his sixth birthday. Jimmy later meets his dog, named Fresco, and both become extremely happy. Little Jimmy and Fresco begin to learn what true friendship is together in some of their upcoming adventures such as Jimmy Brings Fresco to School for Show–and–Tell, The Big Circus, Fresco Gets Lost, and so much more.
