The Last Goldmine
Do not feel guilty about not being able to go on to higher education. And do not feel guilty if you can afford to get higher education but decide it's not for you. The country is in need of people to work in every trade. Find something that excites you and try it. Start trying it while you're in high school if you can. Maybe summers or a few night hours and weekends during school. I wrote The Last Goldmine to hopefully give a comfort level that you can provide a comfortable life for you and hopefully your future family. Seek knowledge, be honest, and work as hard as it takes to get your foot into the trades. I'm nobody special, and I provided for a wonderful family. This book is written with the construction trade in mind. That's because that's what I am familiar with. There are other trades, and they all need people to work for them. There are no limits. The trades are truly The Last Goldmine.
